REQUIREMENTS

The following must be sent to us prior to breeding: 

• Copy of AKC Registration Certificate

• Copy of OFA Certification

• Pedigree, as many generations back as is available

Though we try to breed to all good dogs, due to trial schedule, travel schedule, or prior breeding commitments, Truman may not always be available.

ARRANGEMENTS

Please understand that at this point in Truman's life, his primary job is field trials. Training and field trials will take priority over breeding.  Nevertheless, from May through early September, Truman trains with Two Step Kennels in Tie Siding, Wyoming, about 25 miles south of Laramie.  Arrangements can be made to pick-up and return your bitch to the Denver International Airport, subject to Two Step's availability to do so.

From mid-September through April, Truman returns home to Texas for winter training and field trailing.  During this time, he is based in Madisonville, Texas, approximately 1.5 hours north of Houston.  Bitches should be delivered to Two Step Kennels in Madisonville (see links to their web site for directions and contact information) or shipped to Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport.

FROZEN SEMEN

Currently, this is our preferred method for breeding due to Truman's age and trial and training schedule.  If you are unable to ship or drive your bitch to where Truman is located, we can ship frozen semen to the vet of your choice who will be conducting the insemination.  We currently can ship frozen semen from Denver, Colorado.  However, we intend to also be able to ship frozen semen from Houston, Texas, which ever is closer to you, in order to minimize your shipping expenses.  Shipments from Houston may not be available until the Spring of 2003.
