Truman is a
fun, exciting young field trial competitor who is coming
of age. He is a very consistent competitor having placed or JAM'ed
in 12 of 17 Derbies and 4 of the 6 Qualifying stakes he ran. In June
of 2002, at age 27 months he ran his first Open All-Age Stake. At
age 3, Truman qualified for the 2003 National Open.
He
possesses an attractive combination of size (approximately 94 lbs.), good
looks and is OFA - EXCELLENT. His coat is medium and colored evenly.
He has broad shoulders, a large square head and a good coat.
Truman displays exceptional marking ability and a high degree of
intensity. He is a very strong dog, which bodes well for
him in water, over terrain and in the wind. He
has developed strong momentum on his
blinds and runs
hard each
time out.
In training or at a field trial,
Truman is very energetic and intense and possesses a strong desire to
please. He has been trained by Bill Schrader of
Two Step Kennels
since about 10 months of age and competes regularly in field trails
throughout the western United States.
